Son-of-Fire

Well... things have been a bit hectic as of late... some minor surgery, with some more on the way. Work being all over the place... as well as a social life in the bin...

With all that in mind, I haven't really been doing all that much in the way or illustrations for a while... but on the plus side, I am starting to get back in the saddle again...
The latest bits...
Medieval Serbians...
Why you ask?
Well, I have of partial Serbian decent, and I haven't found much of anything in the way of illustrations depicting them... so I have started rooting around trying to find what I can...
And what I have found out, or extrapolated, I have decided to sketch...
So, that is the update... just a few quick sketches for now...

Ok, so where have I been you ask?
Well, not really anyone asked, but I will answer anyways…

Well, I am on the last leg of my welding apprenticeship (around a month), meaning…

1) I will actually get paid for once, and have a viable and stable income, freeing me up to be able to both put food on the table and giving me some free time to get back into sketching a little more often.

2) I can start work on a little idea I had for a personal project, of which I will display most of the illustrations on this site.

3) I will have graduated from apprentice, to rookie.

Aside from that, I also have a bit more free time now, due to my recent "dumping", in which I was unfortunately the "dumpee".
Which regrettably has left me in a more, bitter, cantankerous, and misogynistic frame of mind, and not one conducive for illustration… or at least, not with me at any rate.

So there you have it, the reasons for my absence, and hopefully a bit of an understanding for when I will be back, to hopefully post some newer stuff.

Ok, I just uploaded a new Deviation. But it does not show up in my gallery, nor in my recent Deviations, yet I can still reach it via the Deviant Art URL, so it's kicking around somewhere on this site.
Any care to explain this to me?

Yup, I have actually posted another journal entry… Satan must be skating to work.

Anywho, I just wanted to thank sergiomatico for the sweet avatar (I would hyperlink him, but I can't figure that shit out, but go check him out anyways). Thanks man, it kicks mucho ass.

In other news, I am burnt... really fucking burnt.
I was welding a boat-lift together today and my sleeves did not fully cover me so I got "flashed" all to shit on my arms.
I should have worn long sleeves, but it was just too hot today.

Meh, I'll live.

Well here I am, back on this thing after lord knows how many years absent.
Perhaps now I will actually update the damn thing more.
